Jamie Kurlej



Jamie is a Master’s level counselor completing her graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wilmington University. Her clinical background involves working with children and families in behavioral health to promote healthy regulation strategies, communication skills, and behavior and emotion management. She has worked with clients in various settings, including telehealth, in-office, schools, and in client homes.

Jamie is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and grounded in person-centered care, recognizing that each client is the expert of their own life. She works collaboratively with clients to identify goals and establish personalized treatment plans that foster growth and resilience through everyday stressors as well as more significant life events.

Jamie has experience working with children and adults affected by trauma, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, substance use, and legal involvement. Above all, Jamie is committed to walking alongside her clients in a warm, supportive, and authentic way to help achieve goals and a sense of balance.
