Roberta E. Johnson LMSW, CFSW, ICAADC, LCDP



 Roberta is a Licensed Master Level Social Worker, who has graduated from Widener  University with a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW). She also received a Masters degree in Administration of Justice: Criminal Behavior from Wilmington University. In addition to social work practice, Roberta has obtained licenses/certifications in financial social work and chemical dependency through the State of Delaware.

Over of the course of twelve years, Roberta’s professional experience range from providing therapeutic services that involve criminal behaviors, mental health disorders, trauma, crisis intervention, financial management and substance use for children, adolescents, adults and families. Settings include in home, behavioral health facilities, offices, community settings and through teletherapy (online).

Roberta’s therapeutic approach is a blend of but not limited to narrative, solution- focused, trauma-focused, systems and cognitive behavioral therapies. Her belief is to evaluate the entire situation in order to address the identified issues and bring forth solutions. Also, stressing the importance of meeting the client where they are to successfully navigate through the identified issue.

Roberta's goal as a clinician is to guide her clients through a time in their lives that assistance is need and provide a calm, open minded space for the client to express themselves and grow as a person.
